Visit resort Finolhu in Baa Atoll

This is one of the best resorts we have been to! Really a good buffet and very different from the others we have visited in the past. However, a day trip to Finolhu, Bad Atoll from Maafushi is not possible. Because the distance is too long.

Finolhu is located in Baa Atoll, which is one of the more northern atolls known for large amounts of plankton, which attracts several whale sharks and manta rays (up to around 100-200) - especially in the summer period!

If you want to combine your stay on Maafushi with day trips to a resort island, we have other great choices of resorts. However, it is also possible to spend a week here and a week on Maafushi. We've done that ourselves and we think it's a great combination. It's a good mix of holidays that are both expensive and cheap, but also relaxing and full of experiences.

We have often combined local islands with resort islands to get different experiences in the Maldives!

When you visit a resort island on a day trip, you're typically allowed to use all the resort's activities and restaurants etc. but you can't enter and see the rooms, this is reserved for resort guests.
