Private trip to Jack Sparrow Island

A look back at our private trip to Jack Sparrow Island with Shadowpalm Maldives in the Maldives back in 2021!

The island has nothing to do with Jack Sparrow, the name of the island and the tour is one that the owners of Shadowpalm came up with.

On the way to the island, you'll pass the Keyodhoo shipwreck, which you can snorkel by. The ship is believed to be an Indonesian vessel that drifted into Vavuu Atoll. Since then it has become home to a lot of coral and small fish🐡🐠🐟

The ship has been there for a number of years now, not sure exactly how many.

We had packed some sheets and pillows to make it as comfortable as possible. Then we slept on the beach under the open sky (but with fairly large crabs around us - they were only there at night. Unfortunately, it also rained during the night)

But what an experience we had! Shadowpalm still does this tour, but without accommodation!
