Room drawings -this is what it will look like!
Since we can't furnish the rooms yet, but have already bought everything for the rooms and want to show you what it will look like - so you know what to expect and hopefully book soon for summer 2025. We've been lucky enough that one of our followers, Michelle, works with floor plans/drawings and has made a furnished floor plan of some of the rooms!
Thank you so much Michelle! You can see more of her work on her Instagram profile; @nyboe_interior
You can see the pictures of the rooms below, as well as our thoughts on the interior design. We have tried to match the final result as closely as possible with the drawings. However, there may be some changes and not all rooms are the same.
We've gone for a minimalist, aesthetic style with "holiday vibes", which we think matches the surroundings and the experiences we've had here and on our other trips.
We've also used the logo as a starting point to create a common thread throughout. It's everything from the service (plates, glasses etc.) to the choice of towel colour. We designed the logo based on what we like and of course with inspiration from various trips.
The idea behind the sliding bathroom door is that it shouldn't take up too much space in either the bathroom or the room. We also want it to match the style of the rest of the hotel in terms of colour. our sea creatures made of driftwood, chairs in the restaurant, vases, table tops, etc. We also don't want a large closet in the room as it will quickly take up a lot of space and will take some light from the room.
We'll have connecting doors in some of the rooms, which will be between the bed and the bathroom.
We've also looked a lot at what other hotels look like, what we want to do differently and how we can stand out from them and make it a more unique experience in our own style. One of the coolest things is that we've been able to go out and find everything ourselves, see the production and meet the different suppliers/manufacturers!
We love the drawings ourselves, but of course also the real products that we have bought.
